The High Pass Challenge is an epic bicycling journey from Packwood to Windy Ridge and back, covering more than 7,500 feet of elevation gain along U.S. Highway 12 and Forest Service roads leading to Mount St. Helens.

Please join Chehalis River Basin Land Trust members and friends for our annual Gala fundraiser — Return to Riverside Gala.
This will be a wine and dessert event featuring live music and a presentation by
Isabel Vander Stoep and Jared Wenzelburger who kayaked the length of the Chehalis River earlier this year. There will also be a fundraiser auction and dessert dash, along with an update on recent Land Trust projects and activities.
The Chehalis River Basin Land Trust will hold a Work Party at the Chehalis River Discovery Trail, near Centralia, from 9 a.m. until noon, on Tuesday, September 27, 2022. We’ll be removing invasive plants from areas near the trail.
The Discovery Trail is at 1545 Goodrich Rd., Centralia. Follow the event signs to parking near the old red barn. Water, snacks, and other cold drinks will be provided (please bring your own bottle for water.).
Please dress for the weather and bring sturdy work gloves and footwear. We will have some garden tools and gloves available at the site but feel free to bring your own hand tools.

Join volunteers from the Chehalis River Basin Land Trust and the Lewis County Stream for a tree planting event at the Chehalis River Discovery Trail, on Monday, November 20th. We’ll gather at the trailhead, near the river, at 9 am, then proceed to the work area near the north end of the trail to begin planting.
Snacks and drinking water will be provided. (Bring your own bottle.)
Dress for the weather. Boots, gloves, and work clothes are recommended. We will have garden tools and some gloves available at the site.
