Centralia 4th of July Summerfest
Centralia’s 4th of July Summerfest 2024 is bigger and better than ever! Start the day with an 8 a.m. 5k Fun Run under the clock tower at Centralia College. Also, at Centralia College, enjoy a pay-what-you-can pancake breakfast starting at 8 until 10 a.m., followed by free field activities and games from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. Beginning at noon, find family fun at Gorge Washington Park and Pine Street Plaza. The fun doesn’t stop there! At 4 p.m. is the parade of the season. This year’s theme is Star Spangled Summer and features plenty to see in the sunshine.
For the biggest bang in Lewis County on the 4th of July, don’t miss the SSW Fairgrounds 4th of July Derby & Fireworks Show! The derby tickets are popular, so skip the line and buy them now. Get box seats for eight people for $200 or 12 for $300, now at the fair office. Individual pre-sale admission tickets can be purchased at the fair office starting on Monday, July 1 at 10 a.m. and continued until Wednesday, July 3 at 3:30 p.m. with a check or card. Grandstand tickets are $12, kids (6-12) are $10 and children 6 & under are free. Trackside all-ages tickets are $25, and for those 21 and over, sit in the beer garden for $30.
Don’t miss the fireworks show following the demolition derby! The City of Centralia invites the community to a dazzling display lighting up the night sky. The free show starts at 10:30 p.m. in front of the Southwest Washington Fairgrounds Grandstands.
Lewis County Transit will provide shuttle service on July 4 from 7:30 a.m. until 11 p.m., with stops at the Centralia Train Depot, George Washington Park and the Southwest Washington Fairgrounds. Parking is located at the Fairway Shopping Center, and there is overflow parking at the Lewis County Mall.
Toledo’s Independence Day Celebration
The Soto-Bloomstrom Family, Toledo Lion’s Club, Toledo Fire District and the City of Toledo are hosting Toledo’s Independence Day Celebration. Free to the public, enjoy fireworks around 9:30 p.m. Stop by city hall for Polish dogs and pulled pork sandwiches benefiting the Miguel Soto Memorial Scholarship Fund. Kids can get light-up toys near city hall as well to enjoy.
Mossyrock Freedom Festival
Celebrate the holiday with the family at the Mossyrock Freedom Festival. Start the day off with the always popular Mossyrock Independence Day 5K & 8K. Cross the Mossyrock Dam with this fun run and enjoy the amazing views of Riffe Lake.
At 11 a.m., bring the kids to the fun children’s bicycle race. At noon, there will be a patriotic public parade followed by live music and local vendors. Then, to cap the night off, head to the high school at dark for the free fabulous fireworks show.
Pe Ell 4th of July Festival
Gear up for an epic celebration at the Pe Ell 4th of July Festival! Immerse yourself in the patriotic spirit as the west side of Lewis County kicks things off with a spectacular parade that will transform the streets into a festival of colors and patriotism starting at noon.
From face painting to exciting games, find fun-filled activities that will keep the kids entertained all day. Don’t miss the chance to savor the delicious offerings from the Fire Department’s grand hamburger feed, and top it all off with delightful, sweet treats!
Attention car enthusiasts! Don’t miss the first-ever Pe Ell 4th of July Festival’s Classic Car Show on Friday, July 4, starting at 9 a.m. Come admire a stunning display of classic vehicles, or register your own for just $25 here.
Prepare to be dazzled by a breathtaking fireworks that will illuminate the night sky with a symphony of exploding colors and stunning pyrotechnics at 10 p.m. at the Pe Ell school grounds.
