Learn local history at the 2nd Forest Grove Cemetery Tour. Your tour guide will take you through the cemetery where you will encounter living history vignettes. Come early for a daylight tour or at sundown for the lamplighter tour. Will feature tales of immigrants, pioneers, Seatco Prison, a bear attack, a country doctor and more. Proceeds benefit Boy Scout Troop 9014 and is made possible with the help of friends and the South Thurston County Historical Society.
The evil and greedy Medusa Dunnit has taken over the sleepy little town of Critter Crossing with the help of weak-willed Judge Wally Wessell and Sheriff Black Bert Bushwacker. Who will step forward to help plucky Penelope Fortune save Critter Crossing’s Orphan School and Old Folks Home from these evil villains? The Roxy Players follow this classic melodrama with vaudeville-style music and comedy.

Burnt Ridge Nursery founder Michael Dolan will lead a tour of our 20-acre organic fruit and nut orchard, with a focus on crops that ripen in the summer including blueberries, mulberries, and figs. Cultivation and propagation techniques will be discussed, as well as the specific characteristics of the varieties that do well here in the Pacific Northwest. Fruit samples and snacks will be provided to-go this year, and all events will be held outdoors in compliance with Washington state COVID guidelines. 2 tours: 10 am -noon and 1:30-3:30. Limit of 30 guests per tour. $15 per individual; $30 for a family (up to 4 people). Parking is limited, please carpool if possible. World Fish Migration Day is celebrated to raise global attention
to restore river connections for migrating fish to achieve healthier
fish stocks and more productive rivers.
Come celebrate salmon and our other native migratory fish on
Saturday, May 21, 2022! Walks will be held on the Chehalis River
Discovery Trail, Centralia at 10:00am and 1:00pm. COVID-19
protocols in place — 6ft+ distancing, masks optional; group sizes
limited.
