The Rotary Club of Centralia has launched a new Centralia Rotary Flags program. For an annual membership fee, anyone living within the Centralia city limits can have an American flag installed in their yard four times per year: Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day and Veterans Day. Details and sign-up information are available on the Centralia Rotary Flags website here.

Here’s how it works:

  • Visit the Centralia Rotary Flags website to sign up
  • Memberships cost $80 per year
  • There is an introductory discount in place until May 17 for $60 per year
  • Flag installation is currently available within the Centralia city limits; contact Centralia Rotary for availability outside the city limits
  • Flags are installed for the following holidays: Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Veterans Day
  • Centralia Rotary members will come to your address shortly before each holiday and install a self-mounting flag in your yard; flags will be removed shortly after each holiday

Proceeds from the Centralia Rotary Flags program will be used for local Rotary projects, such as maintenance and improvements at Rotary Riverside Park; support for childhood literacy programs, such as the Dolly Parton Imagination Library; scholarships for local students; and other local community projects.

“A membership in the Centralia Rotary Flags program is a great way to show your pride in our community and to help support local community projects,” according to Bob Mohrbacher, President of Centralia Rotary. “You can also give a gift membership to other friends and family members in Centralia.”

Centralia Rotary Club meets Tuesdays at noon at the NW Sports Hub. Visitors and those interested in becoming members are always welcome. For questions about the Centralia Rotary Flag program, email the Club at centraliarotaryflags@gmail.com or visit the website here.
