All are invited to join the Lewis County Stream Team for tree planting along Mill Creek! We are planting to improve water quality and salmon habitat. Come learn about stream restoration, beavers, and salmon. Work gloves, shovels, and snacks provided. Please wear appropriate footwear. What: Lewis County Stream Team Tree Planting on Mill Creek
When: Saturday, March 2nd from 10AM-1PM
Where: 266 Jeffries Road, Chehalis. From I-5 take State Route 6 West towards Pe Ell. Turn right on Chilvers Rd. Turn right on Jeffries Rd. Gravel parking lot is marked on the right after Glenview Drive. Look for salmon signs.
Borst Family (c. 1860) hired Mercer Girls from Seattle to Teach the families in Centralia. Our Living Historians will present what that included. Open House at the historic site is from 1:30 til 3:30 pm. With the Program @ 2 pm.
Join Lewis County Stream Team and Twin Brooks Farm for a nature walk along a Conservation Reserve Enhancement Site. Learn about native plants, salmon, and how to protect water quality. Come enjoy planting trees along the stream!
