This community events calendar is the place to find fun activities and things to do throughout Lewis County, including Centralia, Chehalis and beyond.
On Saturday, April 23rd, we will plant seeds to celebrate Earth Day (technically, Earth Day is Friday, but everyday should be Earth Day, anyway). Kids of all ages can come and plant the seed of their choice and take them home to nurture. Help them appreciate the earth and feel more connected to nature as they watch their seed sprout into a plant, with just a bit of care.
Best Family Farms will be partnering with us and will give a free Jack-O-Lantern pumpkin to every child that keeps their plant alive until September! So, bring the family, have some fun, and celebrate what our Earth has to offer.
This is a FREE event.
On February 16, at Third Thursday in downtown Centralia, I’m offering an evening of Art Therapy. Two hours of FREE drawing exercises and sketching prompts.
You’ll need a couple of pencils, an eraser, and a sketchbook. That’s all!
Every level of artist is welcome. If you’re rusty, all the better.
We’ll do:
1. Warm-up scribbles
2. A review of simple shapes
3. Drawing prompts
Relax for two hours and get some drawing in with friends. In my opinion, there’s no better therapy.
No RSVP is needed.
Just wander in and join us.
