Learn what’s new with the proposal to construct a Flood Retention Facility (a dam) near Pe Ell at this free community event.
- What is an ‘expandable’ dam and why is it now part of the proposal?
- What is a ‘scoping process’ and how does it fit into the EIS for the NEPA and SEPA?
- Who is involved?
- How does the Flood Control Zone District affect the plan?
- Who will pay for the dam?
- Will my taxes increase?
Public input to the scoping is your right and responsibility. The comment period is September 29 through October 29, 2018.
