This community events calendar is the place to find fun activities and things to do throughout Lewis County, including Centralia, Chehalis and beyond.
Our talk begins at 2:00 pm (30 mins) about children’s clothing of the mid-19th century. Living Historian Beverly York will lead the talk. Hand outs will be given to those wanting to do more in-depth study. Particularly, those interested in becoming involved in Living History of our era. See you there! FREE ~ Donations always accepted.

In the mid-19th century books were hard to come by. The Borst Family had a small section built into their home with books still in it from their time. Our guest speaker is Roy Matson, a Borst Home Museum Volunteer, will give a talk at 2:00 pm for 30 mins and answer questions about the importance of books.

Burnt Ridge Nursery founder Michael Dolan will lead a tour of our 20-acre organic fruit and nut orchard, with a focus on crops that ripen in the summer including blueberries, mulberries, and figs. Cultivation and propagation techniques will be discussed, as well as the specific characteristics of the varieties that do well here in the Pacific Northwest. Fruit samples and snacks will be provided to-go this year, and all events will be held outdoors in compliance with Washington state COVID guidelines. 2 tours: 10 am -noon and 1:30-3:30. Limit of 30 guests per tour. $15 per individual; $30 for a family (up to 4 people). Parking is limited, please carpool if possible. Practices: 1 hr. on Wednesdays
– Girls 5-6 pm

Can bring your own team (all kids register & assigned to coach) or be placed on a team
K/1st 5v5 8 ft. hoops
2nd 5v5 9 ft. hoops
Games: Will play tournaments (2-3 games) in Centralia on the following Saturdays:
– December 10
– January 7
– February 4

Cost: $200
$200 covers your complete Fall/Winter (Nov-Feb) season payment for a 90TEN Jr. Elite Competitive Basketball team. By paying in full, you are making one complete payment and you will not have to make any other monthly payments.
What’s Included:
12 – Sixty (60) minute practices (12 hours of basketball instruction)
3 Basketball Tournaments – 2-3 Games per tourney (approximately 8 hours of basketball)
1 – Uniform reversible jersey (players keep)
Coach/Admin fees (insurance, website, taxes, club memberships, etc.)
Approximately 20 total hours of basketball. Cost per hour of basketball = $10.00
