This community events calendar is the place to find fun activities and things to do throughout Lewis County, including Centralia, Chehalis and beyond.
For all ages. Come to the library, pick out a pumpkin and decorate it with paint, glitter, stickers, and other materials. Supplies are limited.
For children 3-6 years. Not-too-scary stories, ghoulish songs and scrumptious snacks are sure to delight and entertain. Costumes are encouraged but not required. Refreshments provided.
Zombies from all over the world will be doing the dance together, at the same time, and BOO-Coda WA is an official Thriller Dance Location! There are plenty of practices and opportunities to learn the dance! Follow their Facebook page for practice information
We are a family affected by autism. As our family member grows older, the venues available to them become scarcer. Our goal is to provide a venue specifically for those special needs individuals who are looking for community functions and events.
We do several walkthroughs with lights on and lights off to deal with the various levels of stimulation tolerance. Our intent is the event be spooky not scary. We do not use any bloody or gory props. We are NOT focused on scaring the visitors but providing a enjoyable haunted Halloween experience.
We dare you to take a tour of our haunted library where spine-tingling frights await you. The library has had 114 years to collect ghouls and ghosts and they are ready to be let out for one night only. All ages are welcome, but parental discretion is advised as this event was created by local teens who are ready to scare.
For children and teens. Trick or Treat in the library.
Hello fellow bakers! Lets meet up for introductions and to plan our first bake! Stop by The Station Coffee Shop at 1:00 p.m. on Sunday December 31 if you would like to participate.
This will be a simple meet and greet to get acquainted and to organize our first official meet up with our baked good to share!
If you would like to participate in the first bake, but cannot attend the meet and greet simply send me a message and I’ll fill you in on the details.
All welcome, no special skills required!
Entering its 11th year, the annual Northwest Permaculture Convergence (The Convergence) is an inclusive weekend-long event that alternates between the states of Oregon and Washington. The Convergence brings together a remarkable diversity of people to share their creative approaches for designing living environments, economic systems and culture practices that thrive within ecologically sustainable limits. Longtime enthusiasts and beginners alike pilgrimage from every corner of the Cascadian Bioregion, to educate on their successes (and failures!). Dozens of workshops and skillshares happen simultaneously all weekend long, making The Convergence a rich and valuable resource within our community.
The Board of Directors oversees event management and is fiscally responsible for each year’s event. NWPCC teams up with local communities for ‘Shoulder Events,” supporting our allies with tours, panel discussions, workshops and classes. Every year, the organization offers a number of volunteer and work trade positions. Ride shares, home stays and food donations can be arranged.
