The Centralia-Chehalis Chamber of Commerce announces a Roses and Refreshments Ribbon-Cutting for Dirty Thumb Nursery to celebrate the reopening with new ownership. Jena and Kyle Asleton purchased the nursery from previous owners Connie and Spencer Davis, who have run the business since 1989. The ribbon-cutting ceremony takes place on March 28 at Noon. The Asletons will be present to celebrate the Grand Re-opening. As a part of the celebration, Dirty Thumb Nursery is offering roses at a special price, and refreshments will be served. The nursery is located at 1580 State Route 6, Chehalis.

Before buying the nursery, the Asletons both managed the Riverside Golf Course for more than 10 years. The nursery was listed for sale in 2020, but the timing wasn’t quite right for the Asletons until October 2022. With the encouragement and training of the previous owners,

The Asletons have been able to learn the ropes of the business, and the Davis’ will continue to mentor them for two years while adjusting to nursery life. Dirty Thumb Nursery currently offers annuals, perennials, tree shrubs, berries, vegetable starts and hanging baskets.

For more information, visit their website. The nursery officially opens from April 1 – October 31. Dirty Thumb Nursery is located across the field from Adna High School at 1580 State Route 6, Chehalis.
