On Thursday, June 16, United Way of Lewis County is hosting its first-ever Pints with Purpose brew fest event at Newaukum Golf Course to raise funds for their mission of lifting 30% out of poverty by 2030. Guests will have the opportunity to taste their way through our area’s finest breweries, cideries, and wineries while enjoying live music from Vaught Rock.

“We are extremely excited to partner with Newaukum and our local breweries to raise awareness for their great products while at the same time working to help lift families out of poverty. It gives the opportunity for community members to support our ‘Cradle to Career and Beyond’ initiative and have a fun evening out with amazing local beers, food and music. It is a win-win for both local businesses and our community!” states Executive Director, Christian Bruhn.

Dick’s Brewing, McMenamin’s, Jones Creek Brewing, and Bateaux Cellars are just a few of the vendors who will be on-site offering up samples of their finest products. Pints with Purpose will also feature a silent auction with fun experiences to bid on.

The event will take place from 5-9 p.m. and advanced tickets can be purchased online by visiting the United Way website. Pints with Purpose is sponsored by Pacific Mobile, Summit Funding, Leslie Myers/Realty World, DB Roof Co., Columbia Crest Financial Advisors, and The Chronicle.
