The City Council provides elected representation of the citizenry in the governing body. The Council meets on the second and fourth Tuesday of each month (7 p.m. at City Hall) to approve expenditures of funds and set public policy for the community, with the primary criteria being the safety, health, and general welfare of the community.
Come and take part in varied events to celebrate Halloween: a movie marathon at 5:00 p.m. – cost is $5 for adults, $3 for children and students at the Roxy. Attend a Halloween party for $3 at the Tiller. Get your face painted, enjoy baked goods, participate in a costume contest. Join us on Veterans Day, November 11, 2017 for a Fun Run and Health Walk to honor our military, first responders, police officers, and firefighters! A portion of the proceeds benefit the Wounded Warrior Project. Open to all ages
