Join us for our radical home economics series! Drop-in and learn how to make sustainable and budget-friendly items for use around the house. Each program will have a different theme, with demonstrations and examples you can take with you. Come and learn new techniques or share your own DIY experiences! All supplies will be provided. This month we will explore solutions for keeping your house clean.

Donna Lowery is a retired Army Sergeant Major, one of the first group of women selected to service in Vietnam. She put together a 20-member book team to research and collect these stories that chronicle the participation of American military women (other than nurses) who were stationed in the Republic of Vietnam during the Vietnam War.

The goal of this club is for young adults to get together to read, discuss, and share YA literature. No genre is excluded! (So long as it’s Young Adult.)

Join the Chehalis River Basin Land Trust for an evening of discussion led by you! What does climate change mean? No mumbo-jumbo, no complicated terms, no pictures of suffering animals… just plenty of time for you to ask any question you’ve ever had about climate! Presented by: Ron Figlar-Barnes, the EPA Coordianator for the Skokomish Tribe; Eliza Ghitis, Climate Scientist for the Northwest Indian Fisheries Commission; and Kylea Johnson, Director of Programs for the Chehalis River Basin Land Trust with a B.A. in Environmental Science with focus on chemistry and mass extinction.
