This community events calendar is the place to find fun activities and things to do throughout Lewis County, including Centralia, Chehalis and beyond.

School of the Arts is focused on developing well rounded actors by offering opportunities for youth to develop their acting, singing and movement skills through classes, workshops and productions. This fall we will be offering a 10-week session of classes and an end of session Showcase. Classes start Sept 13, 2018. The Showcase for friends and family will be in November. Students will receive training from qualified instructors in a small group setting.
All classes located in Bethel Downtown Centralia, 413 N Tower Ave.

Enjoy stories, rhymes, songs and movement games followed by 30 minutes of unstructured play. This is an early learning program.
Writers, prepare to be inspired! Novelists, poets, essayists, zinesters, songwriters, and bloggers are invited to join the Teen Writing Group. This ongoing monthly workshop offers the chance to share your writing, get feedback, learn about writing techniques and most importantly, be inspired to write. Refreshments provided by the Friends of the Centralia Timberland Library.

We will be hosting a question and answer session with a panel of current foster parents and staff from licensing agencies. Bring your questions!
