This community events calendar is the place to find fun activities and things to do throughout Lewis County, including Centralia, Chehalis and beyond.
Join in a spirited book discussion of a selected title each month. New participants are always welcome! The October book is “The Warmth of Other Suns: The Epic Story of America’s Great Migration” by Isabel Wilkerson. Copies are available at the Information Desk one month before the discussion.
Seeking adventurers to embark on this epic quest! Come play D&D, MTG or another game or your choice on first and third Thursdays. Snacks provided by the Friends of the Chehalis Timberland Library.
School of the Arts is focused on developing well rounded actors by offering opportunities for youth to develop their acting, singing and movement skills through classes, workshops and productions. This fall we will be offering a 10-week session of classes and an end of session Showcase. Classes start Sept 13, 2018. The Showcase for friends and family will be in November. Students will receive training from qualified instructors in a small group setting.

Writers, prepare to be inspired! Novelists, poets, essayists, zinesters, songwriters, and bloggers are invited to join the Teen Writing Group. This ongoing monthly workshop offers the chance to share your writing, get feedback, learn about writing techniques and most importantly, be inspired to write.
