This community events calendar is the place to find fun activities and things to do throughout Lewis County, including Centralia, Chehalis and beyond.
Country Dancing for 60 years! Come learn how and enjoy a family friendly dancing to country music. Grange members make a light repast (lunch of sandwiches, dessert, coffee/tea and soda pop). A Raffle is held. Suggested Donations: $6 at the door and maybe $5 or so per meal enjoyed. All while shuffling across the dance floor to delightful
country music classics.
Join us for the 2024 Chehalis Flying Saucer Party in downtown Chehalis,WA. Friday, September 13th is the Northwest Flying Saucer Film Fest at McFiler’s Chehalis Theater. Saturday, September 14th is a day full of fun with engaging speakers, vendors, live music, the alien invasion parade, and exhibits at the Lewis County Historical Museum and much more! Christmas at Borst Home Museum, One Room Schoolhouse & Pioneer Church is a Christmas to remember for all ages. Crafts from our past at the One Room Schoolhouse
with a play and Christmas Carols at the church. Many festivities. Come and enjoy a

Our preservation dinner aims to complement the lively fall harvest dinners that happen in the community. In late winter as we emerge from the cold, dark weather, we can remember the fruits of our labor as we savor preserved goods from our abundant summer and fall harvests. We can celebrate the continuation of the cycle of life that connects us all. We want to offer an evening to showcase local food, nutrition programs, and farmer opportunities. Farming is connection to community eating, health, and environmental sustainability. Please come and see what is happening in our community and share what you may be doing as well.
Calling all producers, growers, grocers, markets, local food banks, food access programs, chefs & restaurants focusing on local produce, community & school gardens, folks who simply love delicious food grown with heart. Kids are welcome. Join us, and let’s unite our missions!
