Marissa Dykman

Marissa Dykman was born and raised in Lewis County, graduating from Centralia High School and Centralia College before graduating from Western Washington University in 2016. She’s had a lifelong passion for writing, going all the way back to first grade when her teacher turned one of her stories into a bound book. She originally went to Western planning to be a journalist and worked for the school newspaper, The Western Front, but her love for creative writing lead her to study English. She enjoys working for Lewis alk because of its focus on personal connections and telling stories.
