Timberland Regional Library staff are asking for community input on a proposed new library building in Randle.
Two public meetings with TRL staff are scheduled to be held in May and June at the Mountain View Timberland Library at 210 Silverbrook Road in Randle. Those in the Randle community are invited to attend.
Those meetings are:
- “Community Conversation” – Wednesday, May 25, 5:30-7 p.m
- “Drop-in Conversations” – Saturday, June 4, 1-4 p.m.
Staff from the TRL public experiences department, which oversees the many ways patrons interact with library spaces and staff both virtually and in person, will join Mountain View Timberland Library Manager Judi Brummett to hear from community members on what they would like to see in the new library.
TRL staff also will be gathering information via an online survey that can be found at https://tinyurl.com/NewRandleTRLibrarySurvey. The public will be notified of more opportunities to offer feedback in the future.
“This valuable information will be used to design library spaces that best fulfill the needs and wishes of the community within the budget of the library district, staffing levels and time constraints,” said Timberland Regional Library Public Experiences Coordinator Kristen Hylton. “We look forward to working together throughout the design process and can’t wait to see what we can build together.”
