Mentor a youth in our community by spending a few hours each month doing things you both enjoy. Learn how we ignite the power and promise of youth with our proven system of support and safety.
Fiddlesticks Cooperative Preschool and Immanuel Lutheran Church holding a joint indoor yard sale to raise funds for both the preschool and church. Thousands of items from toys to tools to clothing to shoes. It’s a bargain shoppers paradise. Doors open at 8AM.
Learn how a pistol functions, how to load one, how to grip it, stand, sight alignment and press the trigger. We will touch on what is considered self-defense and what isn’t. You do not have to own a pistol to take this class. Come and learn what to take into consideration when purchasing your first firearm. I have several different sizes of handguns to try on for size. The fee for this class is $75 which includes a $25 non-refundable deposit, balance due at the door. Class size is limited to 6 so preregistration is a must. If there is not at least 3 registered for this class it will be rescheduled, so please register early to reserve your spot. Bring your firearm if you have one, if not, bring a box of 9mm Luger/Parabellum and/or .22LR to use in the firearms I have. Also bring eye/ear protection (I have extra of those too) and a baseball cap. Any questions and/or to register please call Dolly at 360-978-4338.
Join us as we celebrate our 40th anniversary at our current location! We will have refreshments and TWO special performances by Cowboy Buck and Elizabeth. The first performance at 11 a.m. features interactive musical comedy and ventriloquism for kids of all ages. Their second performance at 1 p.m. will take (some of) you on a stroll down memory lane with folk songs of the 60s and 70s.
The Wynoochee River: Come Experience It!
Pack a picnic lunch and hang out at the river with us! Wade in, enjoy a swim, kayak and learn how to safely enjoy the river while also protecting its waters.
Community groups will be on hand to:
• Provide boater and water safety information
• Share knowledge and activities on salmon, water quality and stream flow
• Provide information on ways to get involved with Grays Harbor Stream Team and more!

Parking is limited. Please plan to carpool. Every half hour, a free Grays Harbor Transit shuttle bus will be available leaving from the Montesano Library.
