Family Movie Matinee: Coco @ Centralia Timberland Library

Children and families, children grades 1-6. Bring your own treats and spend the afternoon watching a free movie at the library! Sponsored by the Friends of the Centralia Timberland Library. This event is part of the Summer Library Program, a Timberland Regional Library district-wide program.

Mulan Jr Theater Summer Camp @ The Evergreen Playhouse

There is still time to be part of Mulan Jr with TOAD. While we will be preparing for Mulan the musical, we will also be playing theater games, learning all about theater terms, painting, costumes and so much more – all while building some of the best friendships around.
Camp days are Monday – Friday July 16 – August 5 from 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. for ages 6-16.
Performance dates will be August 3 and 4 at 7:30 p.m. with a Sunday matinee Aug. 5t at 2:00 p.m.

Join Brenda for this two hour Introduction to Hoop Dance and learn the basics of hooping from the ground up! Never been able to hula hoop? No worries! This is the workshop for you!

Over this two hour workshop, Brenda will take you on a journey through the different styles and techniques of Hoop Dance and empower you to play, groove and practice the FUNdamentals of beginning hoop dance. Laugh your way to learning hoop dance in a safe space and body-positive environment. Hoop dance is a low impact form of expressive fitness and suitable for all bodies, genders and ages. It is a moving meditation and highly effective cardiovascular and strengthening exercise experience.

No experience necessary! Bring your curiosity, hoops will be provided

Chehalis Music in the Park Series

Chehalis Music in the Park Series at Recreation Park is fantastic for music lovers. Country singer Ty Herndon will perform on July 27 and Halfway to Hazard plays on August 3. On August 10, Elliott Lurie will perform. Bring the family and a picnic, and enjoy this free music.

Mossyrock Blueberry Festival

Mossyrock Blueberry Festival is August 3 to 5. There’s music every day and – of course – blueberries. The highlight of the weekend is the parade at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday followed by the ever popular pie eating contest at 1:00 p.m. Other activities include a dog show, pancake breakfast, quilt show and a trail race.
