Girls Night Out is a retail promotion for shopping, dining, and entertainment in downtown Centralia. It is held twice a year in April and October! Starting points are HUBBUB on the north end and The Station Coffee Bar and Bistro on the south end. We have a non-profit partner this time and they are the Lewis Co. Relay for Life, Paisley’s Posse.. One dollar from every passport sold will go as a donation to them to help with the cancer fight! Also, the first 200 shoppers will get a goody bag! At the end of the night, and it is time to turn your passport end, turn it end at the last business you visit. There will be a drawing of the turned in passports for a chance to win the gift basket! We all look forward to seeing you, so enjoy and have fun shopping and dining in downtown Centralia!
Vermiculture, or worm box composting, is a process in which red wiggler worms (also called manure worms) and micro-organisms are used to convert kitchen fruit and vegetable waste (peelings, etc.) into nutrient-rich humus. Gardens and potted plants become healthier and more robust with the addition of this “black gold”.
