Pub Quiz Night is here! We’ll start things off at 7:00 p.m. The lucky prize winners will get O’Blarney’s gift cards and other special prizes. Of course, this event is free for all.
School of the Arts is focused on developing well rounded actors by offering opportunities for youth to develop their acting, singing and movement skills through classes, workshops and productions. This fall we will be offering a 10-week session of classes and an end of session Showcase. Classes start Sept 13, 2018. The Showcase for friends and family will be in November. Students will receive training from qualified instructors in a small group setting.

It’s National Novel Writing Month! Drop-in Saturdays in November to join other writers for dedicated writing time. Refreshments provided by the Friends of the Chehalis Timberland Library.
Have you ever felt lost for words? Imagine not having the vocabulary to describe an event in your life, and feeling imprisoned by it for years. This talk explores the power of storytelling and its role in healing. With an emphasis on South Asian cultural expectations, her own story of sexual abuse and the need to create a space for talking about taboo issues, Indapure illustrates how the act of storytelling is therapeutic to the storyteller and beneficial to the listener.
Ms. Indapure is a volunteer, storyteller, activist, artist and community organizer. Her formal training includes a BA in English literature, an LLB from the University of Pune, and an LLM from the University of Nottingham.
