This ongoing monthly workshop offers the chance to share your writing, get feedback, learn about writing techniques and most importantly, be inspired to write. The City Council provides elected representation of the citizenry in the governing body. The Council meets on the second and fourth Tuesday of each month (7 p.m. at City Hall) to approve expenditures of funds and set public policy for the community, with the primary criteria being the safety, health, and general welfare of the community.

A BioBlitz is a group of scientists, students, naturalists and other members of the public (i.e. families) teaming up and to identify and record as many kinds of plants, animals, amphibians and insects as possible. The data and pictures collected will be loaded to iNaturalist to share with the world.
