This free forum will offer separate presentations for adults and youth. The adults will learn about current marijuana laws, marketing strategies, and discuss risks to youth. The youth will learn about laws pertaining to them and dangers associated with marijuana use. this forum will provide an opportunity to get facts and ask questions. HOPE on the Slopes, Ski & Ride for a Cure is a vertical challenge and fundraising event for skiers and snowboarders benefiting the American Cancer Society. Individuals and teams engage in a friendly competition for awards and prizes in two categories: Top Fundraisers and Top Vertical Feet Vertical is tracked by RFID or GPS scanning system. This Month: Local plants and animals are already feeling the effects of climate change in our region, but how do our local bird populations fare? Kim Adelson, a member of the Black Hills Audubon Society and longtime professor, joins us in our NEW office for a cozy talk about how our local bird populations are changing as they feel the effects of climate change in our area, and what we can do to help our local avian wildlife! The lecture will be followed by ample time for questions and discussions with Kim, group discussion, and review of Kim’s resources.
