Sacred Harp is a style of choral music that utilizes shape notes and harmonies. Singings bring together people from all around, and visitors are welcome to join either as singers or just simply to listen. Dinner will be served.
You’re invited to join ARTrails at our Gala Opening Reception to be held at Centralia’s Historic Train Depot. Celebrate the opening of our 15th annual studio tour, meet the artists and view the Exhibition Gallery.
Pick up a studio guide or view it online for a map and information on each artist. We have lots of hands-on activities for all ages! Visit one or visit them all with this free self-guided tour. Also visit the Exhibition Gallery where each participating artist has one piece of work on display at 210 Railroad Ave in Centralia in the historic train depot September 16-24.
Our season starts on the first Thursday after St. Patrick’s Day and then meets every Thursday until the last Thursday before Halloween. We meet at 6pm at O’Blarney’s Irish Pub in downtown Centralia to begin our weekly run. We will have 6-8 different routes which we will alternate throughout the year. We end our run at O’Blarney’s to enjoy great food and some social time before we all embark on our respective Fridays!

Free and fun introduction to square dancing. A chance to get out and get moving. You’ll be dancing right away. Good exercise for body and brain in a friendly atmosphere. No experience necessary. Paintings are led by Sue Wachter and Joan Hitchcock. Cancellations must be processed more 24 hours in advance to be accepted. Please arrive at least 10 minutes before the event starts to get your supplies and spot ready for the evening.
We provide paint, canvas, brushes, apron, snacks and drinks and you get to take home your masterpiece each event. Wine will be provided for those over 21 years of age. Room 116 in Washington Hall on campus.

This social, family-friendly class gets your body and mind moving in a fun atmosphere. By the end of ten weeks you will have learned the basics of modern square dancing – the same moves used in thousands of square dance club dances and dance events throughout the world.
