This community events calendar is the place to find fun activities and things to do throughout Lewis County, including Centralia, Chehalis and beyond.

The classic ballet Cinderella is brought to life by the talented young dancers of Ballet Theatre of Washington. The beautiful Cinderella will be joined by an amazing array of characters! A dashing prince, magical fairies, an acrobatic jester are just some of the characters you will meet. You will also get to experience the most outrageous step sisters ever to hit the stage! They will all be accompanied by the Prokofiev’s classic score.
The performances will take place at the newly renovated Liberty Theater in downtown Centralia, WA (413 N Tower). This show is the perfect springtime confection for the whole family. And it’s hilarious.
There will be three performances, Friday April 21 at 7 PM, Saturday April 22 at 2 PM and 7 PM.
Girls Night Out is a retail promotion for shopping, dining, and entertainment in downtown Centralia. It is held twice a year in April and October! Starting points are HUBBUB on the north end and The Station Coffee Bar and Bistro on the south end. We have a non-profit partner this time and they are the Lewis Co. Relay for Life, Paisley’s Posse.. One dollar from every passport sold will go as a donation to them to help with the cancer fight! Also, the first 200 shoppers will get a goody bag! At the end of the night, and it is time to turn your passport end, turn it end at the last business you visit. There will be a drawing of the turned in passports for a chance to win the gift basket! We all look forward to seeing you, so enjoy and have fun shopping and dining in downtown Centralia!

Studio West Dance Theatre presents the Olympia premier of the supernatural, time-honored classic, Giselle – the preeminent example of 19th-century balletic Romanticism. Giselle, a beautiful peasant girl, is deceived in love by the aristocrat Albrecht, disguised as a commoner. Audiences will be moved by the ethereal beauty of this ballet as love, betrayal, and forgiveness play out with stunning simplicity. Giselle is to ballet, as Hamlet is to the stage, or Romeo & Juliet is to romantic tragedy.
Music composed by Adolphe Adam, with choreography honoring Marius Petipa’s 1884 staging.
Guest artists include Pacific Northwest Ballet soloist, Joshua Grant, dancing the role of Albrecht; and Nathan Cook, director of Washington Contemporary Ballet, as the infatuated Hilarion.
