This community events calendar is the place to find fun activities and things to do throughout Lewis County, including Centralia, Chehalis and beyond.

The entire family is invited to Providence Centralia Hospital’s third annual Healthier Together event. All activities are free and open to the public. Sign up early and receive a free t-shirt (limited to first 300 people). Registration is not required, but encouraged for planning purposes.
The event will include:
- 5k fun run/walk presented by the Run Amok Running Club (check-in begins at 8:00 a.m. with the run starting at 9:00 a.m. All participants receive a door prize ticket and there will be awards in several divisions
- Kids dash (10:30 a.m.)
- Bike helmets for kids (sponsored by Providence Neurosciences)
- Healthy snacks
- Health fair:
- Blood pressure checks
- Blood sugar checks
- Health screening information
- Physical therapy advice
- And more
Grand Enteries at 1:00 p.m. and 7:00 p.m. Salmon dinner at 5:00 p.m. Dance contents, drums and more.

We’ll have over a dozen games for you to play while you nom on some hot pizza and drink a cold beer.

In this three hour Master Class and Workshop with Nia Faculty Trainer, Britta von Tagen you will experience some of Nia’s most potent tools and practices to creatively condition your body, mind, emotions and spirit including:

Over the course of three hours, you will be guided through a combination of Nia choreography and Floorplay that will teach you to read your body’s signals as a way to personalize your Nia experience inside and outside of class and leave you with lasting results.

Learn local history at the 2nd Forest Grove Cemetery Tour. Your tour guide will take you through the cemetery where you will encounter living history vignettes. Come early for a daylight tour or at sundown for the lamplighter tour. Will feature tales of immigrants, pioneers, Seatco Prison, a bear attack, a country doctor and more. Proceeds benefit Boy Scout Troop 9014 and is made possible with the help of friends and the South Thurston County Historical Society.
