The Master Gardner Foundation of Lewis County is please to announce that our annual Spring Plant Sale is coming soon. You will find high quality plants, all grown by Master Gardeners, for a great price. There will be thousands of plants to choose from. Learn about growing Lavender from WSU trained Lewis County Master Gardeners. Join us at Borst Park, Master Gardener’s Demo Garden on July 16th, 10am, for a in-depth class on growing Lavender.
Burnt Ridge Nursery and Orchards in Onalaska will host weekly organic gardening classes this summer. In the first session, we will discuss how to plan gardens and home orchards and ways to add trees, shrubs, and vines to your existing landscape. We’ll also touch on planting for pollination, nitrogen fixation, sod removal, and mulching. Presented by Ben Kunesh, on staff horticulturalist.

The Chehalis River Basin Land Trust will hold a Work Party at the Chehalis River Discovery Trail, near Centralia, from 9 a.m. until noon, on Tuesday, September 27, 2022. We’ll be removing invasive plants from areas near the trail.
The Discovery Trail is at 1545 Goodrich Rd., Centralia. Follow the event signs to parking near the old red barn. Water, snacks, and other cold drinks will be provided (please bring your own bottle for water.).
Please dress for the weather and bring sturdy work gloves and footwear. We will have some garden tools and gloves available at the site but feel free to bring your own hand tools.
