This community events calendar is the place to find fun activities and things to do throughout Lewis County, including Centralia, Chehalis and beyond.
There is still time to be part of Mulan Jr with TOAD. While we will be preparing for Mulan the musical, we will also be playing theater games, learning all about theater terms, painting, costumes and so much more – all while building some of the best friendships around.
Camp days are Monday – Friday July 16 – August 5 from 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. for ages 6-16.
Performance dates will be August 3 and 4 at 7:30 p.m. with a Sunday matinee Aug. 5t at 2:00 p.m.
Riveropolis, a traveling fantastical waterways exhibit will be at Hands On this summer! Flowing water play inspires endless investigation and experimentation. Build bridges and boats at nearby tinkering stations and get your hands wet exploring the properties of water.

Encourage literacy skills through art, music and play for children ages two to six. This event is part of the Summer Library Program, a Timberland Regional Library district-wide program.
Enjoy stories, songs and movement games that are especially welcoming to children on the autism spectrum or with other special needs. You’ll enjoy a safe, non-judgmental environment, a schedule board for following along and a sensory-sensitive environment. This is an early learning program.
Talk about books and swap reading suggestions related to the monthly theme. For July, try a book told in multiple perspectives. Themed snacks provided by the Friends of the Chehalis Timberland Library. Everyone goes home with a free book. Teen Book Club meets on the fourth Friday of every month. Chehalis Music in the Park Series at Recreation Park is fantastic for music lovers. Country singer Ty Herndon will perform on July 27 and Halfway to Hazard plays on August 3. On August 10, Elliott Lurie will perform. Bring the family and a picnic, and enjoy this free music.

The Chehalis Mudder on July 28 is all about getting dirty. With a rugged obstacle course, this event is fun for everyone. After the race, stick around to win prizes, eat some delicious food and listen to music. This event is for ages five and up and benefits the Chehalis Little League.
