This community events calendar is the place to find fun activities and things to do throughout Lewis County, including Centralia, Chehalis and beyond.
The Southwest Washington Fair is August 14 to 19. This year’s theme is A Touch of Country. The event promises to be full of fun in the sun with music aplenty, tons of yummy food and shows galore. There’s so much to do and see between rides at the carnival.

Take a tour with friends to tour a productive organic farm with conserved land bordering the Chehalis River. The farm activities, chickens, pigs, young farmers will be our stars. The lands, timber and wildlife habitat will also be discussed.
Growing fresh produce and meats for the local community, offering young entrepreneurs a place to learn and conserving our land and water all happens here. Come see for yourself!
Please wear closed toed shoes and bring a water bottle and hat.
Join us for musically inspired events. We’ll have fun with music, dancing and bubbles! This program is sponsored by the Friends of the Chehalis Timberland Library. This event is part of the Summer Library Program, a Timberland Regional Library district-wide program.
