The City Council provides elected representation of the citizenry in the governing body. The Council meets on the second and fourth Tuesday of each month (7 p.m. at City Hall) to approve expenditures of funds and set public policy for the community, with the primary criteria being the safety, health, and general welfare of the community.

Roxy Benefit Golf Tournament @ Ironwood Greens in Glenoma

The 5th Annual Roxy Golf Tournament at Ironwood Greens, Glenoma, features 50/50 raffle, prizes, and events such as: Long Drive for men and women, Nearest the Pin for 2 holes for men and women.  Participation fee of $30/person includes 12 holes and a complementary Roxy Theater movie ticket.

8th Annual Benefit Horse Trail Ride @ EVERGREEN SPORTSMEN’S CLUB

5 & 8 mile trail ride to benefit WASLICO (Washington State Livestock Coalition) for its non-profit activities to benefit Lewis, Thurston and Mason county livestock owners. Over 115 riders last year! And over $5,000 in cash and prizes raffled off.

$30 Entry Fee: includes Breakfast, (snack), Lunch, 1 Poker Card (*) & 1 Raffle Ticket and
Free field camping for horses, riders & guests (per vehicle & horse trailer) for Friday and Saturday nights! Lunch $5 for Guests/Non-Rider

Total Experience Gospel Choir @ Roxy Theater

The Total Experience Gospel Choir bursts with love, joy and enthusiasm. It is hailed as one of the Pacific NW’s finest soulful ensembles. Pastor Patrinell Staten Wright started the group as a gospel music class at Seattle’s Franklin High School in 1973. Since then, the choir has grown to become a nationally and internationally known gospel singing group.
