This community events calendar is the place to find fun activities and things to do throughout Lewis County, including Centralia, Chehalis and beyond.

Imago’s shows have been described as Cirque Du Soleil-evoking acrobatics mixed with Mummenschanz-like mime, set in a unique, yet accessible, French-influenced, avant-garde playground. ZooZoo is penguins playing musical chairs, a cat trapped in a giant paper bag, hippos with insomnia, anteaters as waiters, and a madcap revue of illusion, comedy and fun that has inspired audiences nationwide. Imago has performed in China, Europe and at some of North America’s most revered festivals.

Join us for a hands-on workshop learning all about the tiny critters living in our local waterways! Daron Williams, a Habitat Biologist for the Department of Fish and Wildlife, will guide us in sampling and identifying macroinvertebrates, and speak on what they can tell us about the health of our streams. Don’t miss out on an opportunity to explore an important conservation area (managed by Capitol Land Trust) and get up close and personal with these fascinating (and often overlooked) creatures. Exact location provided after RSVP – limited spots available!
We recommend dressing warm and waterproof! Rubber boots are recommended, as you will have a chance to step into the stream to collect samples. Terrain is relatively flat but bumpy. Participants will not be expected to walk more than half a mile. There are no facilities on site, so please make sure to go before the workshop if a bush is not your ideal bathroom!

Join us for a lovely potluck celebrating local food grown and preserved by hard-working farmers and community members. Music by Prairie Fire.
Our preservation dinner aims to complement the lively fall harvest dinners that happen in the community. In late winter as we emerge from the cold, dark weather, we can remember the fruits of our labor as we savor preserved goods from our abundant summer and fall harvests. We can celebrate the continuation of the cycle of life that connects us all. We want to offer an evening to showcase local food, nutrition programs, and farmer opportunities. Farming is connection to community eating, health, and environmental sustainability. Please come and see what is happening in our community and share what you may be doing as well.
Calling all producers, growers, grocers, markets, local food banks, food access programs, chefs & restaurants focusing on local produce, community & school gardens, folks who simply love delicious food grown with heart. Kids are welcome. Join us, and let’s unite our missions!
Tickets are free with suggested donation; registration required.
This event supports Nature Nurture Farmacy’s Project: Food Is Medicine.

Join Lewis County Stream Team + the Onalaska Alliance to plant a variety of native trees and shrubs along Carlisle Lake!
