Learn the basics of what to look for when purchasing a handgun, how to hold the pistol, how to stand while shooting, how to aim, what may or may not be considered self-defense and more. Bring to class your firearm if you have one, proper ammo for it, eye/ear protection (I have extra if you don’t have either of those) and a baseball cap. Become a Certified NRA Range Safety Officer by taking this class. Learn how to spot trouble on a shooting range and what to do about it. Help keep others safe.
Students will arrive at 8:30 to fill out paperwork and for class handouts.
Students will need to bring their NRA card or a copy, pen, pencil, paper, snacks, drinks. Coffee and water will be provided.
We will break for lunch, 30 mins to 1 hour depending on time.
Cost is $75.00 full tuition, $25 deposit, non-refundable (so I can order books) balance of $50 (cash) is due at the beginning of class. Contact Charles at neelycw@comcast.net for information on making the deposit.
