At this time, Lewis County is unable to secure adequate staffing for this large event that was set to have vendors from across the state and nation. As planning was underway for vendors to be outside or under open-air facilities only, and with the increased cleaning schedules and various work duties, staffing concerns became apparent for the event that was set to run August 27-29.
We know how much this event means, especially to the local community, however with the limited staff it is no longer feasible to maintain the facilities to the necessary levels needed during this time, and as a result, the appropriate decision is to cancel the event.
