Travelers who use northbound State Route 507 through Centralia will need to add extra time to their trips.
Beginning Saturday, May 22, crews working for Puget Sound & Pacific Railway will fully close northbound State Route 507, also known as North Tower Avenue, at East 5th Street. During the closure, crews will remove aged railroad track and install new track. Southbound SR 507 (Pearl Street) will remain open.
Closure details
- Northbound SR 507 at the intersection of North Tower Avenue will close to all traffic beginning at 7:00 a.m. on Saturday, May 22, and reopen no later than 5 p.m. Thursday, May 27.
- Travelers should follow posted detour signs as local and truck traffic will use different detour routes.
