Lewis County Public Health & Social Services (LCPHSS) announced on June 11 that another county resident has tested positive for COVID-19. The person is in their 50s, is not hospitalized, and lives in Commissioner District #1.

LCPHSS also announced that five more individuals who had tested positive are now considered to be recovered under the current definition by having passed 28 days or more since symptom onset and not currently hospitalized. This brings the total number of known county residents with positive tests to 38 and recovered to 31. Three of the 38 who tested positive have died.

Positive test cases and recoveries have occurred in all areas of the county. Breaking them down by County Commissioner district shows:

To date, there have been 2,633 tests administered in Lewis County, with 38 cases confirmed (1.4% positive).
