Every once in awhile, businesses disrupt their regularly scheduled programming to say “thank you” to their customers and communities. From flash sales and giveaways to parties and more, there are many ways companies celebrate the patrons that keep their businesses going strong.
This October, I-5 Cars dealerships Awesome RV and Awesome Ford are joining forces to say thank you in a big way during the Awesome RV and Ford Event. From Friday, October 23 through Sunday, October 25, visitors that stop by Awesome RV and Ford will enjoy everything from free food and music to prizes and the opportunity to tour a variety of trailers and vehicles.
The three-day event, which takes place from 10:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Friday, October 23 through Sunday, October 25, is an opportunity for Awesome RV and Awesome Ford to have fun with their customers, all while enjoying good food, music, prizes and more.
Sales Manager, Ryan Hughes, says this is not a sales event — it is a giving back event. With a freshly remodeled building, Awesome RV and Ford are excited to host the community during three days of food, music (Live 95 and KITI will be on site Saturday from 12:00 – 2:00 p.m.), and giveaways that include everything from RV parts and a Disneyland vacation to a stay at the Ocean Crest Resort in Ocean Shores (valued at $300) and much, much more.
In addition to the food, music and prizes, Hughes says Awesome RV and Ford will also be hosting educational seminars daily so customers can learn about Winnebago and Denali trailers, and Ford technology, in a no-pressure environment.
On Friday, Awesome RV and Ford invite the community to explore one of the Winnebagos displayed on the lot. A member of Awesome RV’s sales team will be on-hand to answer questions and educate customers about the Winnebago’s many special features and share information about how the trailers are built. Saturday will present a Denali, and Sunday will showcase Ford vehicles and answering customers’ questions about their own vehicles.
Hughes says this is a great opportunity for community members who are interested in purchasing a new trailer or Ford vehicle, but aren’t ready to buy, to come down and learn more. Already have a new Ford vehicle but have some questions about its features? Hughes says Awesome RV and Ford staff will also be on hand to provide one-on-one training with customers who have questions about navigational systems and other features common to newer Ford vehicles. “This is an opportunity for us to sit down with our customers and show them how to get the most out of their vehicles,” says Hughes.
But Hughes says this event is about more than just giving back to customers. It’s about giving back to the community. Friday, Saturday and Sunday will feature a variety of hot foods including pulled pork and baked beans all cooked on site and prepared by volunteers from the Lewis County Gospel Mission. “We have a couple gentleman who volunteer at the mission coming to cook food,” says Hughes. “It is free for everyone who shows up, but any donations given on site will be donated to the Lewis County Gospel Mission.”
Rain or shine, Hughes and the entire Awesome RV and Ford staff invite the community to stop by, enjoy some food, enter to win some prizes, and have a good time.
