FORMA Construction is pleased to announce the recent promotion of long-time Estimator, Brian Rich, to Preconstruction Director and Principal—joining owners Jim Phillips, Jace Munson, and Drew Phillips in the leadership group at FORMA.
“Brian began his career with FORMA 20 years ago—essentially in our mailroom. He’s risen to every new challenge and position he’s faced,” notes FORMA President Jim Phillips.
Brian’s addition to the ownership group coincides with a period of strong growth for the company, which has seen its annual revenue double over the last several years, and he is a big part of FORMA’s vision for the future.
“Brian’s contributions to our estimating systems, preconstruction support, and virtual construction tools have helped fuel our growth and drive FORMA to embrace new technologies that aren’t just marketing exercises, but provide real value for our clients,” adds COO Jace Munson.
In his new role, Brian will continue to keep his expert fingers on the pulse of the fluctuating regional markets, emerging building innovations, and design trends that inform construction budgets and drive industry costs up and down.
About Brian Rich
An Olympia native who enjoys building complex pivot tables in Excel, as well as spending time outdoors with his wife and two daughters—Brian has been a critical member of the FORMA team for over two decades. Focused for the last 10+ years in Estimating, Brian has amassed valuable industry experience as it relates to efficient systems integration, materials selection, and life-cycle costs analysis, to lend him unique insight into the “real costs” of delivering efficient, quality facilities, and adding significant value to FORMA’s project teams during Preconstruction.
