The smell of popcorn. Screams from the tilter-whirl. The nibble of a goat. Music you can dance too. The cheer of the crowd when the eight-second buzzer sounds. All this can only mean one thing: It’s finally time for the Southwest Washington Fair!
It’s happening August 14-19 as the fairgrounds in Chehalis and has everything you could possibly want to end the summer with a bang. All you need is your fair ticket to gain access to the fun, making it the best bang for your buck in Lewis County.
Daily entertainment includes family-friendly contests, comedy acts, juggling, dance performances, variety shows, bands, clowns, livestock showing and more! August 14
Kid’s Day, Kids ages 6-12 get in for $3
- Little Miss Friendly Ceremony: 6:00 p.m. at the Titus-Will Saloon Stage.
- Demolition Derby: 7:00 p.m. at the Grandstand.
- Edgewater Trio Concert: 7:30 p.m. at the Midway Stage.
- Doug Taylor Concert: 7:30 p.m. at the Titus-Will Saloon Stage.
- Street Dance with Music by Chris Guenther: 8:00 p.m at the Titus-Will Saloon Stage.

August 15
Senior Day, Seniors 60+ get in for $3

August 16
