Are you ready to learn how a firearm functions? Don’t know how to choose a firearm you might want, then this class is for you. Learn the basics of how a firearm operates, learn about different ammo, how to grip the firearm, how to stand, line up the sights, press the trigger and more. If you do not own a firearm I will have several available for you to try. You would need to bring a box of 9mm Luger or Parabellum ammo and/or .22 LR (long rifle) ammo. You would also have to bring eye & ear protection as well as a baseball cap. The fee is $85 and you must call Dolly at 360-978-4338 in advance to reserve your spot. Can have 6 ladies in each class. If you have questions please do not hesitate to contact me.
Master Gardeners will be in the Gardens sharing how to start gardening … Gardening Made Simple. Anyone can garden, almost anywhere. The site buildings are Open 1:30 til 3:30 with our Talk at 2 pm for 30 mins. As will our Living Historians to visit about our history and gardening then and now. Some things have changed, but not. George Washington was practicing Garden Rotation 250 years ago. It is still a wise practice. He used “Organic Gardening” also, though they didn’t give it such a fancy catch phrase.
Thought about buying a handgun and don’t know what to look for? Own a handgun and not sure how to use it? Come learn the basics of handguns, how to grip them, how to use the sights, how to load and unload, how to stand and more. Come with questions and leave with answers. If you do not own a handgun, bring .22LR and/or 9mm Luger or Parabellum ammo and use one of the instructors firearms. Bring your firearm (or ammo if you do not own a firearm), the appropriate ammo for that firearm, eye/ear protection (I have extras of those too), a baseball cap and a notebook for note taking. Preregistration is required with a $30 nonrefundable deposit and $55 balance due at the door. Call Dolly at 360-978-4338 to make your reservation.

Join us for an evening of live gospel music performed by Kevin Mills & The Mark Dubbeld Family.
Kevin Mills is an accomplished singer who sang several years nationally and internationally with the group “Keepers Of The Faith”. Kevin has a beautiful bass voice and has done several solo CDs. After Kevin retired from Keepers Of The Faith, Kevin and his family settled in Rochester WA.
The Mark Dubbeld Family is from Moneta, Virginia. The performers are Mark, Janene, Elena and Britton Dubbeld. They are known for their originally penned songs and family harmony. They sing at churches and venues of every size across the United States.
Both groups have been featured singers at the National Quartet Convention (NQC) in Tennessee which is the largest southern gospel event in the US.
Winlock will be The Dubbeld’s first stop on their west-coast tour this summer. It’s a rare opportunity to get to see them in person in this part of the country and a huge bonus to get to see/hear Kevin at the same concert!
Please bring your family, friends and neighbors and come to Winlock to enjoy the concert!
