This delightful farmhouse gala fundraiser is at a beautiful private residence in Toledo on Saturday, July 30, from 5:30 p.m. to 10 p.m. All proceeds benefit Nature Nurture Farmacy’s mission to enable continued access to affordable holistic healthcare.
This wonderful event is specifically just for adults age 21 and over, and costumes are welcome. Enjoy music, herbal cocktails and mocktails, tea, local charcuterie and desserts, dancing, a silent auction, and much more! I?t’s time for to celebrate the summer solstice! Whether you call it Midsommar or Litha, the summer solstice is a fantastic time to reflect on everything that is going right in our lives. It’s a time to celebrate the sun, the earth, and sisterhood. Bring back ceremony and ritual to your life. Bring back community and sisterhood, and reclaim your connection to the earth’s cycles.
Including ceremony, a walk through a private forest, freeform dance, share circle, solitary time for reflection and journaling in nature, and finishing with traditional Midsommar refreshments. The day will be filled with traditional Midsommar symbolism and associations, ensuring each part of the day is in full celebration of this most beautiful day and honoring the traditional origins.
T?he event will be kept intimate, focusing on a goal of 9-12 women. So reserve soon if you’re interested!
In this first of three classes, we’ll talk about making herbal medicine that you take internally such as teas, tinctures, and flower essences. You will leave with an herbal remedy you have made yourself!
This is the perfect space to get your questions answered about making excellent herbal medicine and begin to grow your home apothecary.
In part two of the herbal medicine making series, we will talk about external application of herbs. You will leave with an herbal remedy you have made yourself!
External applications can include infused oils, salves, liniments, lotions, gels, sprays, soaks, and more. Learn the difference between these and when one is more appropriate than the other.
We will make a remedy in class together. This is a great space to ask questions and grow your confidence as you learn to make beautiful, potent herbal remedies.
