This community events calendar is the place to find fun activities and things to do throughout Lewis County, including Centralia, Chehalis and beyond.
Come learn about basic pistol shooting. Safety rules, grip, stance, sight alignment and more. Now is the time to overcome the fear of firearms. If you do not own a firearm that is not a problem. Just bring a box of 9mm Luger and/or a box of .22LR and you can try the different ones I have available. Bring your firearm, appropriate ammo for that firearm, eye/ear protection (I have some to loan of those as well) and a baseball cap. Become a Certified NRA Range Safety Officer by taking this class. Learn how to spot trouble on a shooting range and what to do about it. Help keep others safe.
Students will arrive at 8:30 to fill out paperwork and for class handouts.
Students will need to bring their NRA card or a copy, pen, pencil, paper, snacks, drinks. Coffee and water will be provided.
We will break for lunch, 30 mins to 1 hour depending on time.
