Another great opportunity to recycle and minimize the impact on your local landfill. Deliver your Christmas tree to the Central Transfer Station at 1411 S. Tower Street in Centralia and have it turned into usable mulch for the community. Please ensure all decorations are removed from the tress! You can also recycle white Styrofoam at this time. No trees or wreaths from commercial operations are accepted. Flocked, artificial and or decorated trees may not be recycled. The collection of trees will begin December 26 and continue until January 12. The hours are 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. Donations gladly accepted to support WSU Lewis County Master Gardeners and WSU Lewis County Recyclers.
The Friends of the Chehalis Timberland Library is a group of community members who fundraise to support the library’s programs and services. Anyone is welcome to join. The Friends meet the first Wednesday of every month to discuss fundraising projects and upcoming library events.

Nature Nurture Farmacy is so excited to roll out a new herb class series! Join Dr. Alicia from 2:00-3:30 p.m. on the 2nd Sunday of each month to learn about a new herb in an easy, hands-on environment. You will leave with the knowledge of how to incorporate herbs into your daily routine, as well as a few goodies to start you off!
Nature Nurture Farmacy will be kicking off the 12-part series with mint. This herb is great for the gut and lungs, making it the perfect herb to add to your medicine cabinet this time of year.
Classes are $25 each and spots are limited so give NNF a call to enroll! Make healthy living a priority this year. NNF is here to show you it’s easier than you think!
