Celebrate the Monsters of the Sea at Boo Bash at the Hands On Children’s Museum in Olympia, WA. Dress up in costumes and enjoy a day of fun Halloween-inspired activities without the fright. Explore the new Megan D Vintage Schooner exhibit, take a black light deep-sea dive, search for hidden treasure on the “Ghost Ship,” investigate bioluminescence with sea creatures that glow, discover the power of electricity and what makes eels electric, design a glow-in-the-dark silkscreen print, press apples into cider, watch Dr. Science Demos, door prizes, face painting, fun, and food! You are invited to learn to Square Dance with the Prairie Steppers starting Tuesday Sept. 10, 2018 and continuing on Tuesdays from 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. at the Oakview Grange, 2715 North Pearl Street in Centralia until December 17. Your first lesson is free, then just $2.50 per lesson taught by nationally known caller Don Wood.

Come work on your novel every Saturday in November at the Chehalis library with the moral support of fellow wrimos. Snacks and coffee will be provided by the Friends of the Chehalis Timberland Library to help fuel creativity.
