This community events calendar is the place to find fun activities and things to do throughout Lewis County, including Centralia, Chehalis and beyond.
Meet with others who have dealt with or have a family member with breast cancer.

Join us at the Sanctuary for the basics of making oils, tinctures and infusions. We will be discussing the benefits of each and how you can utilize them for future medicine making. Our focus herbs for this class will be lemon balm, lavender, oregano, chamomile, comfrey and rose. For our infusions, we will be making wellness formula and teas.
What you need to bring;
12 half pint jars
60 ounces of the oil of your choice (olive or grapeseed oil is what I use)

In this two-hour workshop, you will learn what muscles support the front and back of your body and how to activate them in poses. This will translate into your daily life and help you improve posture, build a stronger core and give greater support to your spine.

Blessings all,
Come and join us for our monthly get together. These gatherings will include a discussion segment, a healing segment, (where everyone gets a healing and gets to be a healer), and lastly a social/snack segment. Don’t worry about your healing knowledge as that is one of the aspects of this gathering, everyone having an opportunity to learn. This group does have a Naturopath, several Energy Medicine and Zero Point Energetic practitioners as well as Reiki Masters. This will be a monthly activity. This month we will discuss stone and sound therapy.
Please bring whatever you would like to share. Everyone can lead a discussion, just let me know so we can get it on the calendar. I prefer a more holistic viewpoint to healthcare and I know many of you do as well. Please bring a snack to share. I am looking forward to seeing all of you.

Join us for a community drum circle. Connect to the inner wisdom that drumming can provide for you. Allow yourself to engage in chanting, singing, dancing and laughing if the spirit moves you. As this is a newly formed drum circle we need experienced drummers to come and elevate the beat. Please bring your drum, some water and snacks to share and a great attitude. See you around the circle.
The Chehalis Mudder on July 28 is all about getting dirty. With a rugged obstacle course, this event is fun for everyone. After the race, stick around to win prizes, eat some delicious food and listen to music. This event is for ages five and up and benefits the Chehalis Little League.

The wheel has turned again and brought us to the time of the first harvest. Join us as the story of Lugh is woven and the beginnings of this celebration are revealed. Join us for the gathering of the tribes as we celebrate with food, community and weave intentions into a web of our own making.
We are a community, a group of people, alike yet different. There’s no shame in depending on each other. There’s heroism in ordinariness and connectedness and using relationship skills to get through difficult times. Look at the things in your living room or refrigerator and realize they were made by thousands of people on different continents. We are all interconnected. What one does affects the others, either positively or negatively. If the web is plucked, it sends ripples out in all directions, but as long as the strands remain intact, the web will not fall apart. We are individuals, strong in our own right. Yet there is a special strength, a bond when many people come together to weave intentions.
Have you ever wanted to learn how to make pickles? Well, you are in luck, as the activity we are going to do to celebrate the first harvest as a community is making pickles. No prior experience is necessary. We will have a donation box to cover the cost of the ingredients and the canning jars.
What you need to bring:
As this is a potluck, you will need to bring a potluck dish. Please post the dish that you are bringing so they are not duplicated. As this is a first harvest festival, think of the bounty of this time of year such as fruits and vegetables from your garden. If you have special dietary needs make sure to bring something that you can eat in case others do not. I will be providing the main meat dish and a couple of gallons of tea as well as flavored waters.
Two quart-sized canning jars with lids.
You should bring a chair as there are limited ones here to sit in the circle with.
Please bring a cup for toasting.
A drum circle always follows so please bring your drums, your noisemakers and your voices and sing them strong.
Looking forward to meeting new friends and greeting old ones… Welcome to the Sanctuary.

Bring your Redneck vehicles, big or little, rusty or shiny, loud or quiet, and join Team Laugh Out Loud for a fun-filled afternoon. Prizes for Biggest, Loudest, Most Redneck, Least Redneck and People’s Choice, and a kids’ “vehicle” division.

Proceeds this year to benefit The Cat’s Meow, low and no-cost spay/neuter services, and socialization and adoption of feral kittens.
