The City Council provides elected representation of the citizenry in the governing body. The Council meets on the second and fourth Tuesday of each month (7 p.m. at City Hall) to approve expenditures of funds and set public policy for the community, with the primary criteria being the safety, health, and general welfare of the community.

Looking for a group where you can discuss and discover Young Adult literature with other readers? Come and check us out! Bring a friend and 2 books you would like to suggest for our future club discussions! Light snacks and refreshments will be provided.
The goal of this club is for young adults to get together to read, discuss, and share YA literature. No genre is excluded! (So long as it’s Young Adult.)

Candidate Showcase Forum for Centralia School Board and Centralia City Council. The Chehalis-Centralia Toastmasters Club is hosting this event to allow the voting public the opportunity to see and hear the candidates running for these important positions.
You are invited to come early and stay late. Listen to the candidates answer the tough questions. Gary Stamper, Lewis County Commissioner, District # 3 will moderate the school board portion with Lewis County Commissioner, Edna J. Fund for the City Council. Refreshments will be served.
