The average American generates an average of 1,600 pounds of trash during an entire year. WSU Lewis County Master Recycler Composter volunteers will help you move toward a zero waste goal. They will share techniques to reduce the amount of waste you send to the landfill, prolong the life of your food and demonstrate how to make your own toothpaste.
Your land is special to you, but how will you protect it in the future? Join us for a conversation with attorneys and other land owners and learn what options may be
available to you. A conservation easement for land with natural, agricultural or historic resources may also realize a federal tax savings.

Tribute to Service at The Chehalis Theater- American Sniper Saturday May 25th at 7pm. Top Gun Sunday May 26th at 7pm. All are invited to attend, we will be offering a discount to our men and women of service, past and present. Admission cost is $7 for adults and $6 for kids and seniors. Hands On invites families of children with sensory sensitivities to join popular teacher Lahela Peterson and enjoy the museum before it opens to the public for “Special Mornings of Play.”
Led by museum educators, these are special events for families of children with autism or other special needs that provide a private, less over-stimulating time to experience the museum with other families who may share the same life experience.
Note: Whenever possible we create a quiet space with calming activities during normal weekend business hours. Noise canceling earphones always available free of charge.
