Dive into the “Subtle Body” in this special 2 hour workshop. Using techniques from Kripalu yoga, Thomas Hanna Somatics and Qigong, this workshop will give you both an intellectual understanding of concepts as well as experiential education in the subtle body.
This practice is excellent for those working with chronic pain, healing injury or processing grief. It’s also a great way to begin or deepen a mindfulness practice. Each subtle body exercise uses intention instead of force to create space in the connective tissue and to lengthen tight muscles without stretching.
The workshop will begin with a discussion of the properties of Prana and the subtle body as it is described by the Koshas. This is followed by 1 hour of movement, pranayama and meditation.
Once every ten years the Census takes a snapshot of who we are. The data collected helps determine how many representatives we have in Congress, where roads, bridges, and other infrastructure are built, and how much federal money our communities receive. It’s crucial that everyone is counted once and in the right place.
If you’re interested in learning how you or your organization can be part of this effort, join us for this training. We’ll look at the history of the Census, how it has changed over the years, and how it affects our lives today.
We can’t wait to see you there!

In this 2 hour workshop, you’ll learn how and when to use props and modifications to personalize your workout for you!
