Celebrate the 15th Annual Lighted Tractor Parade in historic downtown Centralia. The parade starts at 6:00.
Join us January 17, 2025 from 6:00 – 8:00 p.m. at Centralia College for a viewing of The Lost Salmon, which “chronicles the plight and potential recovery of the iconic spring chinook salmon of the Pacific Northwest. Faced with extinction in many river systems of the West, a new genetic discovery could aid in their recovery. Once teaming in the millions and a sacrament for the oldest civilizations in the Americas, time is running out for the genetically distinct wild salmon” (PBS). Come eat popcorn and discuss what we can do to help save this incredible fish that call our rivers home!
250 Years of our Nation to Celebrate! How we arrived in the great northwest? Local family history by one of their descendants.
M’Lee Barlow, granddaughter to Lola Bowen Stancil who spent many months during the bicentennial (1976) on the Oregon Trail will be retelling her story. A journey her ancestors took in 1843 to settle in our area. A talk with many supporting artifacts.
Flag Day @ Historic Borst Home with “Flags of Our Fathers”. Lynn Maynard will present a collection of flags from our Nation’s beginning to Now. Colorful and interesting! Please oin us at 2 pm for the program. We open for tours 1:30 – 3:30 pm. Bring your neighbors and friends. FREE
