We’ll discuss the wide world of unusual and underappreciated fruits, including quince, medlar, persimmon, mulberry and the elusive Sorbus domestica (aka “chocolate pear”). We will also talk about the benefits of planting rare trees and what you can do with the fruit.
Mary Dart and the Tanglefoot Cloggers invite you to Beginner Clogging Lessons on Mondays starting October 2, 2023 from 7:30 to 8:15 PM at the Brighton Park Grange, 525 73rd Ave. SW, Tumwater, WA. A work party at the Chehalis River Discovery Trail to prepare the area for the planting of 400 trees and shrubs, later in November.
Snacks and drinking water will be provided. (Bring your own bottle.)
Please wear shoes and clothing appropriate for uneven ground and brushy conditions.
