This community events calendar is the place to find fun activities and things to do throughout Lewis County, including Centralia, Chehalis and beyond.
Stories, songs, and activities for preschoolers (ages 3-6) and their participating caregivers
Compost happens! You know the basics. WSU Lewis County Master Recycler Composter volunteers will teach you the rest of the story. Learn the in-depth details on what goes on in your compost pile or bin, and how the decomposition process works. The class will also cover using your finished compost, worm castings, and worm tea as well as composting alternatives, such as Green Cone Digesters. Bring your questions!

There are more than the five senses we learned about in school. Some children’s behaviors maybe sensory processing challenges rather than intentional meanness or bad behavior. Learn about all our senses and how they are processed in our brain. Share sensory strategies and ways to help your child when their sensory system is not functioning smoothly.
Books, bounces, music and play for babies and their participating caregivers. This is an early learning program.
